Mobile phone in Chaplin's Circus (1928) ?

Many people have been surprised at the scene. I don't think she had a cell phone to make a call.

wow! that is very interesting scene. according to recorded invention history, the cellphone was invented in 1978 by Martin Cooper. is there any chance that the "thing" she was holding was a walkie talkie? hehe i really don't know.

Wow, what an intriguing glimpse into the past! It's fascinating to see how mobile phones were depicted in Chaplin's Circus back in 1928. This really highlights the evolution of technology over the years. By the way, do you have any information about current mobile prices in Pakistan? I'm curious to see how they compare to the gadgets of Chaplin's era!
